Adjectives
An adjective is a word that describes a noun, or a pronoun.
- The well-dressed lady is sitting in the Chinese restaurant at the third table.
well-dressed – describes the noun lady
Chinese – describes the noun restaurant
third – describes the noun table
- He is a smart and nice man.
smart – describes the pronoun he
nice – describes the pronoun he
