Description du livre: Liberté, Volume 2: Première édition canadienne is a textbook for beginner level 2 university students studying French. The textbook was originally created by Gretchen V. Angelo for American students. The first Canadian edition is an online open-source manual created based upon Dr. Angelo’s version by faculty and students of the Department of Modern Languages of Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax (Canada). The online edition is divided into four volumes and is enhanced with supplementary activities that accompany each chapter. These have been developed to expand students’ knowledge of French culture in Canada and around the world. They are enriched with videos, as well as French-Canadian music. Also, plenty of interactive exercises can be found in this online edition to help students practice vocabulary and grammatical concepts taught in each chapter. The exercises follow the order in which the material is presented in each chapter.
