Common Areas – Ivany
All students will have access to both lounges and quiet study rooms on each floor. Students are asked to be respectful in their use of these spaces.
When using a common area, students are responsible to:
- Ensure the space is left clean and tidy.
- Remove all personal belongings, garbage, and recyclables after.
- Adhere to all quiet hours and community standards.
- Promote the fair and equitable access to common areas for all students.
Access to common areas in Campus Housing is a privilege that is provided to foster a positive and collaborative living environment for all residents. These shared areas are intended to be used respectfully by everyone, promoting community engagement, social interaction, and relaxation.
However, this privilege can be revoked if individuals or groups misuse these spaces, engage in disruptive behavior, or fail to follow the guidelines set for the use of common areas. In such cases, residents may lose access to specific common spaces, either temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity of the situation. It is important that all residents respect these spaces and the needs of others to maintain a safe, inclusive, and harmonious living environment for everyone
