REQUIRED READING

A student leader’s conduct reflects on NSCC and the Student Association at all times. All Executives and Coordinators should fully understand and commit to the articles in the Leadership Agreement.

  • Avoid derogatory nicknames or unprofessional content on social media, and
  • Follow all Student Association and College policies and governing documents.

It is also of the expectation that Student Leaders understand that the Student Association office is a place of business and is therefore not to be used as a personal meeting space nor is personal access to be given to those not on the Executive committee or in a coordinator role.

Inappropriate Behaviour

To provide further clarity for the benefit of student leaders, the following outlines the types of behaviours and conduct that NSCC and the Student Association considers inappropriate and will not be tolerated:

  • Threatening, vulgar, abusive, or obscene gestures or language,
  • Being intoxicated while at NSCC or representing Student Association,
  • Consuming intoxicants while supervising Student Association events (even off-campus),
