12 Student Life Partnership
Overview
The Student Life Partnership Model has been in place since 2010 to ensure the support from Student Life to Student Associations in the development of:
- Athletics
- Student Leadership Programming
- Student Clubs & Societies
- Student Association Training & Support
- Other Provincial Services & Programs
- Financial Oversight
Financial Contribution Model*
The financial contribution model is based on the total student fee revenue collected from SA fee paying students per campus.
*The financial contribution model will be adjusted in 2025/2026 to a per student payment model
The incremental contribution percentage is as follows
- campuses with 1-500 students contribute 5% of SA fees
- campuses with 501-1000 students contribute 7% of SA fees
- campuses with over 1001 students contribute 10% of SA fees
All money raised through Student Association contribution are earmarked specifically for Student Life purposes only. These fees will be paid directly to Student Life from the Student Association’s first installment of their Student Fees (in October). To ensure full transparency, Student Life will prepare and provide a full report to all campus Student Associations on their activities.
