Financial Literacy Challenge

At NSCC, we recognize the significance that financial literacy can play in our everyday lives. Taking steps to expand your skills with money management, including how to create and stick to a budget, understanding credit, and steps to help you pay off debt faster, are just some of the keys to making good decisions to improve your financial wellbeing and reach your goals for the future.

To help increase overall money skills, students can participate in our Financial Literacy Challenge. Throughout the year, NSCC provides you with monthly learning activities that help you learn while you earn – with each activity you complete, you earn a ballot for our monthly prize draw and are also entered into our grand prize draw for student bursaries.

A quote from Cassandra – an Annapolis Valley Campus student and a Financial Literacy Challenge winner:

“Being able to understand how to save while also managing loans and keeping good credit are all things that can help during and after your time at NSCC. Participating was easy, with no added pressure on top of schoolwork.”
