5 Transfusion Medicine Student Cupboard Supplies
Each day students are in lab they are responsible for checking their cupboard supplies at the end of lab and making sure the supplies are stocked up for the next group of students coming into lab.
Transfusion supplies in the basket include:
- Timer X2
- Regular sharpie marker
- Skinny sharpie marker
The following is a list of expected Transfusion supplies in the cupboard:
- 10X75 glass tubes
- 12X75 glass tubes
- 2 crossmatch racks
- At least 1 skinny plastic rack
- At least 1 white regular plastic rack
- Cup with plastic transfer pipettes (full)
- Saline bottle (empty and rinsed with DH2O at end of day upside down in cupboard)

Each student is responsible for cleaning their own saline bottles, cell washing discard buckets, work area, stocking up their cupboards, replacing biohazard bags in bench top buckets and stocking reagent racks for the next group. First group of day fills saline bottles, leave full for next group. Last group of day empty and rinse saline bottles with DH2O then store upside down on paper towel in cupboard.
